Problem
The client had a functional, deployed technology that needed to be converted from a $250k cost of goods (COGs) per unit to a much less expensive (target $5k) system on an aggressive production and release schedule. After finding rejection at the doors of several other design houses, this Client approached BES with a grand vision and a tight timeline for final product launch.
Solution
BES leveraged internal and external resources, including local and international manufacturers, to run multiple design and production paths in parallel. This allowed us to circumvent several holiday slowdowns and produce a finalized complex opto-electro-mechanical system in a matter of months instead of years.
